Will Smith- Shark Tale- Oct 1
The sequel is already in development. I guess this film will do well.
Who's in it? Will Smith , Jack Black , Michael Imperioli , Angelina Jolie , Renee Zellweger , Robert De Niro , Martin Scorsese What's it about? Oscar (Will Smith) is a fast-talking little fish who dreams big. But his big dreams land him in hot water when a great white lie turns him into an unlikely hero. At first, his fellow fish swallow Oscar's story hook, line and sinker and he is showered with fame and fortune. It's all going along swimmingly, until it starts to become clear that Oscar's tale about being the defender of the Reef is all wet. Oscar is finding out that being a hero comes at a Market Price when his lie threatens to make him the Catch of the Day. Now he has to tread water until he can get the scales to tip back in his favor again. |
Did anyone see it this weekend?
I so want to see the film. |
I saw it. It was OK. I fell asleep. Nemo and Shrek were a lot better. It kind of had an adult theme that went over the kids' heads. But it was ok. I guess it's worth $7.

You fell asleep?
Dats. not. good. :o |
I saw it and thought it was really cute. There were some parts in the movie where I found myself making a mental grocery list, but overall, it was cute. I loved how the fish, sharks, etc. actually had characterstics of those doing the voiceovers, such as Bobby DeNiro's mole, etc.
But if you all go see the move, please don't leave when the credits start rolling. There's a little more to the movie! |

What happened at the end? You can shoot me a PM, so as to not ruin it for those who haven't seen the movie yet. |
I thought it was too cute. Now, it was no Finding Nemo. Actually, I kind of thought it was more for adults. I love how their faces are on the fish. Katie Couric and Renee Z. look just like themselves.

Since I have the day off tomorrow (Federal Holiday) I am going to see the movie. I wont be paying those high prices the rest of you paid, there is this movie theater here in Akron that show first run movies for $3.50 before 6pm and $6.00 after 6pm. I think I may also see Taxi.
|
I did hear that the best parts of Taxi were shown during the trailers.:(
