I am sure there is a thread out there that about this but I can't find it.

So is anyone going to watch the New york version? I'll give it a try. I do like Gary as an actor so I am hoping it is good.

I'd like to watch it too! I like Gary and Melina (I remember her from Guiding Light)

I'll watch it the first week at least. I love the other two and faithfully follow them but I wasn't that impressed with the sneak peek of NY last season.

I was planning to watch it, but Law & Order was on and that show just sucks me in!

Was NY good?

I fell asleep. They need to turn the lights on for the show.

Re Law & Order, Dennis Farina really needs to get his hair thinned out. He looks like Liberace.

i liked csi-ny, but i'll prolly take weekly turns with it and law and order...

I was kind of disappointed because it felt like they were almost trying too hard. I'll give it a few more weeks before I decide whether I like it or not.

It wasn't as "edgy" as the other two. But I think that might be because they were trying to introduce us to Gary's character. I love that "Tag" from Friends is in the cast!!!

Why does Jerry Bruckheimer do that, anyway?
 

In the CSI-Miami episode that introduced the NY characters, NY was so dim that Horatio's hair didn't look red.

And Cold Case makes everything grey. I've never been to Pittsburgh, but I'm pretty sure that it isn't all shades of charcoal, blue and navy.

I knew I had seen those eyebrows before! I was going nuts trying to place who that guy was.

I found it slow and VERY uninteresting. The other two are so much better. I will probably watch it next week and see if it picks up at all and if not, then I'll stop watching it.
