Hi ladies! I just joined (tonight!) the Lambda Delta chapter at Kent State University!!

Congrats to you!!! I have some guy friends who went to Kent State and they have only great things to say about your chapter...have a great time during your new member period!!!

I knew it!

I was signing on to GC after not seeing it all weekend. I went to the Chi O board first and as it was loading I thought - OH! I haven't checked velouria's rush thread. If she went Chi O she might have posted on our board - and there you were!!!

Congratulations! Welcome to the sisterhood! The Lambda Deltas are a great group. Our NYC social chair is a Lambda Delta alumna!

congratulations on becoming a new member!! some of my best memories of chi omega are from my new member semester!!! my pledge sisters are still some of my best friends now and i wish you the best of luck throughout this semester!!! lico, heather

Welcome! I hope that you enjoy Chi Omega and come to love it as much as I have. I agree with the others, the NM period is definitely one of the best parts of your Chi Omega experience. The semester I joined I spent tons of time with the other NMs and the sisters. It was so much fun!

Welcome to Lambda Delta!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm your Personnel Advisor, Erika, so we should be meeting in the near future! I am hoping to get to one of the first NM meetings and introduce myself, and am encouraging the rest of advisory to do so. You have probably already met Lori, our Recruitment advisor. We have an awesome advisory board and we are lucky to be not only advisors to the chapter, but friends and sisters to them as well.

I want to caution you about what you post on GC about our chapter and Chi Omega in general. It is best not to get too personal. Obviously you can trust your sisters, but some people take innocent information and use it for their own purposes. Just a thought.
