Soror Towanda Braxton on UPN TV Show
 

I just want to let everyone know that Soror Towanda Braxton (Smith - she got married) is on a TV show called "Starting Over" on UPN. I watched last season's show, and this season just started. It's pretty good; uplifting. Check out our soror do positive things for her life.

Show Description:
Daytime's first reality series, STARTING OVER enters its sophomore season. The series has relocated to Los Angeles from Chicago offering a fresh new backdrop for this season's women to start their lives over. STARTING OVER follows a diverse and ever-changing group of women as they attempt to make extraordinary changes in their lives -- all while living together under the same roof. The women are joined by two life coaches, Rhonda and Iyanla, who will help them define their goals and outline the steps needed to achieve those goals. All-new this season, the first man joins the STARTING OVER house. Renowned psychologist Dr. Stan Katz will offer his clinical expertise on the issues facing the women of STARTING OVER. As each woman achieves -- or fails to achieve their goals -- she will leave the house and a new woman will arrive to attempt to start her life over.

This is one of my FAVORITE shows. I Tivo it every day last season! I thought she was a Braxton, but the Smith was throwing me off a bit. I haven't seen the show since Monday, so I don't know what her goal is. I'll be doing my own marathon this weekend. I lost power on yesterday due to Ivan, so I just hope it was back on by 11 today so I can see today's episode as well!

Well, she is a Braxton sister, but she got married in April to a man named Andre Smith. Towanda Braxton (Smith, married name).

I like this show...but it isn't on UPN...it is on CBS.

It's on UPN in Charleston, SC. Sometimes one show is on a different network as you move from city to city.

It's a syndicated show that is produced without affiliation or contracts with national networks. Although "The Price Is Right" is exclusive to CBS, many daytime shows, ie "Montell Williams", "Ellen", are produced to be picked up by network affiliates/independent stations across the nation.

Sorry, but the communications major in me had to share.

So, in ATL, we would watch "Starting Over" on the NBC affiliate. I'll enjoy watching your soror and Iyanla Vanzant. I've missed Ms. Vanzant's wisdom via TV.

Starting Over
 

I love this show! I like Iyanla Vanzant's presence on the show although I miss Rana. I feel like I'm getting therapy vicariously through the housemates.

It took me a couple of days to figure out who Towanda was. Then I remembered seeing those to die for cheekbones on a Zeta website.

I saw a new episode of Starting Over a couple of days ago and I thought Towanda looked familiar.

Also, I miss Rana too. Where did she go and what is she up to now?

Can someone update me on Starting Over. PM or on the Thread...it doesn't matter to me!! I have been missing Soror Braxton (Smith) and her progress due to my work schedule!
