Hello lovely ladies of DST.........I have been waiting on DST for 2 yrs. now. The last line they had was when I was a freshman and I couldn't participate. I finally thought that my time had come(Fall04). Being that xyz chapter only has 3 active members on the yard and 2 are graduating in Dec. I was informed that they will not be having a line this fall nor will ANY DST chapter due to a change in the handbook from national headquaters. Has anyone else heard of this? Why would they let the chapter die out that way? Please help.:( Very, very,very sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some folks wait a lifetime for DST which is far longer than 2 years. Is Delta THAT important to you to continue to wait?:cool: :confused: :D

Ditto what my sorors said. I want to say more but today is a good day.

They are building a WAL MART RIGHT around the corner from me. I am going to pray that it is a SUPER WALMART instead though.

Oh and I got my SWV Release Some Tension CD in the mail today. I got it off of Amazon for 79 cents. :D So TODAY is a GOOOOOOOD DAY!! :D

It took me back to 1998, last semester of undergrad when I was dating Cliff the Que. . .:o His favorite track which became my favorite track was #2, Release Some Tension. :o

Here in Memphis, Rho Gamma is a city wide chapter that covers two schools (Christian Brothers and Rhodes). The chapter has been dormant for about 4 or 5 years. There is a young lady that goes to Rhodes that wants Rhodes taken off the charter with Christian Brothers so that Rhodes can charter their own chapter so that she can pledge undergrad. She has called and left messages with past Memphis Alumnae Chapter presidents and Regional Directors about this. She couldn't understand why no one would call her back. When asked why not just wait and pledge an Alumnae Chapter, she says it won't be as fun. :rolleyes:

(Another soror told me this story. She has actually had conversations with this young lady. Let's just say this soror is one of the "nicer" sorors.)
