OK the song is terrible. My guess is that she covered this song so she could make another skanky video. I haven't yet seen the video, but my guess is that she's dressed in next to nothing, drenced and rubbing carwash sponges all over her body the whole time. Real creative.

Christina, sweetie, you don't need an excuse to make another skanky video. We already know you are one.

I haven't heard it on any stations here in Pittsburgh, but I heard it on a Wheeling, WV station. There are other people on the song (Missy Elliott maybe?)... I heard it and was like WTF is this? Maybe it was just limited release?

Christina actually seems to be cleaning up her act, which is perfect to coincide with Britney's regression into trailer trash.

At the beginning of the song Missy mentions Shark Tale. So it's from the soundtrack.

The song is just alright. I was expecting more.

I doubt there will be a skanky video since this is for a kid's movie. Christina is looking better these days, but I'm getting tired of her wannabe Marilyn Monroe look. I get it already.

Christina will NEVER be camparable to Marilyn Monroe.

she's taken out all of her piercings and cleaned up her act (like others have mentioned). she's actually dressing very retro-classy, it's a welcomed change

You didn't have TBS in before 2002, did you? "Car Wash" is the title song for the '70s movie of the same name. The song was performed by Rose Royce, and it's a classic. Christina needs to be caned for murdering this song. It was terrible of her to touch this song at all, even for a movie.

Yes, Christina's new look is better for her, but it hasn't erased the images of the video, "Dirty", in my mind. Once a skank, always a skank. :rolleyes:

I'm not very impressed by her version of the song. But its prolly b/c I"m not a Christina fan. I wish she would stick to a register and sing in it, instead 5 or 10 per stanza.

I thought Christina looked a lot better with her hair burnette with a touch of red. She looked like Jessica Alba.

Her "classy" image is just hindsight clean-up.

Seriously. Since when it is classy to stand over a steam vent like the oh-so-famous shot? Monroe is an idol, but there's no way she's classy. Back then, she was about as whore-ish as you could get and still have a career.

She also screwed quite a few married men (um, JFK anyone?).
