Beta Gamma
Does anyone know what year the Beta Gamma chapter at the University of Utah closed? And why don't we have an alumnae association in UT??
|
I believe the chapter closed in 1974... and I don't know why there isn't an alum group there... As long as there are about 5 dedicated members though, it is possible to begin one.

Yes they did close in 1974, but as of right now there is no AA located anywhere in Utah. Like nauadpi said, all you need is five dedicated sisters, which you might be able to find. You might be able to call EO and find out if they know if any sisters are living in Salt Lake City. I'm not sure if they will give you the info, but if you tell them you are moving there an interested in starting an AA they might be more "receptive" to giving the information out.
Anyone know why Beta Gamma closed? Does University of Utah still have an active Greek life? |
I helped colonize the NWHAA two years ago, so I understand the basics. It just shocks me there isn't atleast an AA there, even if there isn't a chapter.
Maybe we need a chapter there....hum.... |
If you're interested informing an AA in the area, pm me & I'll give you the contact information for the Alumnae Development Director in district VI. The ADDs are mainly responsible for assisting with the (re)chartering of associations. She may already have a list of interested sisters, but not someone that wants to take-charge of the project.
