Alums?

Just wanted to see as alums what everyone participates in to keep in touch with ADPi?

I am on House Corporation and a member of the Akron Alum association. I also am on the Cleveland Alum Association and volunteer at the RMH.

I'm a member of the Naperville area Alumnae Association. I'm ticked that I couldn't attend kickoff and that I decided to take a Tuesday class, which will conflict with their events this semester... grr.

I just recently got involved with the Denton County Alumnae Association.

hey, for those of you in the NT area, our housing corporation is looking to fill a few spots! and i think we have some open advisor positions as well. a lot of our advisors were taking on two roles, so i think they're trying to get more women involved.

Lyrica, are those adviser positions open now? Or coming open in December? Do you know what positions?

I am currently looking into setting up a new alum group and I am helping out eta mu with their recruitment...

adpi*violet 09-19-2004 03:11 AM

I live in Germany.... therefore all I can do is the following:
Read the Adelphean
Post on here and various other online ADPi groups
Monetary support to various ADPi aspects (such as my chapter when it was still open, a few other chapters, and paying my ReMember dues)
Have lunch with another ADPi sister who also lives in Europe only a few hours from me. :)

When I get back to the states in a year and a half, I am eagerly awaiting to become involved in a local alumnae association, become an advisor and/or house corporation member and possibly even be an International Officer! All depends on where we end up moving back to and if I start graduate school right away.

As it says in my signature--

I am the ME advisor at the Gamma Theta Chapter at Mount Union College and I am the newsletter and web editor for the Akron Area Alumnae Association. I also helped out at recruitment this year for Beta Tau and attend other various events for my chapter! I am an ADPi-aholic!

Well I just got back from helping out eta mu today and had a ball... I am looking forward to helping them again tomorrow night... I do hope that after this weekend I can continue to help them... They are a great group of women...

I am a member of the Phoenix AA. I am the head of the Founders Day committee (at least I think my AA president made me head because the other two sisters who volunteered have never been to Founders Day here in Phoenix). I am also on Convention committee. I am also, well I'm not sure what my "official" title is, but at one point I was being called the president of Virtual Violets. I am the founder of Guardians of the Diamond (using that name for now). I would LOVE to be an advisor, but unfortunately my province director is not the easiest person to get a hold of (there are other reasons, which I shall not name). So I am trying to stay pretty involved.

I am:
* A member of the San Diego AA
* Committee chairwoman of the 2005 Founder's Day for the San Diego AA
* Finance Advisor for the Eta Sigma chapter at San Diego State University

Maybe someday I will try to possibly move toward working for ADPi as an IO or something, but right now I'm pretty happy with what I'm doing right now! :)

Actually I live in the bay area, but I went up to help them on theme night and at pref... Since recruitment did end up being planned last minute (they weren't going to do it then they were and what not) it could have been better... but I think they did a good job for what they were working with... I have yet to hear the results though, because I couldn't go up for bid day... Also I am looking into helping the chapter out on a more perminent basis...

L&L,
katie
