Road Rules Extreme
 

I didn't see a thread for this and since we have a RW Philadelpha one, I thought Road Rules would feel left out.

This season has been pretty good. The dynamics with 3 members being kicked off and someone new coming in has kept it interesting. I loved Kina! I wish that she wouldn't have left because Angela just annoys the crap out of me!

The episode with the RR South Pacific cast has been my favorite since I got to see Chris!! I think he's absolutely gorgeous! He and Christena came to Akron last semester but I didn't get to see them. I was so disappointed to hear that he had just gotten engaged. :(

They came to Akron? For what?

I love this Road Rules....haven't missed an episode! I must agree that Angela is a little whiny, but that newest girl (name escaping me now) is a little slutty-- sleeping with someone on your first night there!! My favorite was Ibis!!

But overall I like the cast and the "xtreme" events they have done!!

ETA: I lovvvvvvvvve the dog!!

Some promotional thing I guess. They were at one of the Basketball games last semester. I was looking at the UAkron calendar that we have in the house and there is a pic on there with a bunch of guys (not sure if they were Phi Delts, Phi Sigs, or Sigma Nus - I can't remember) in "the Pouch" or whatever they call it now. Then I remembered reading about it and wanting to be there!

Ibis was my favorite too. I hated to see her go. I think she's absolutely beautiful yet she was down to earth too. Too kind and down to earth to last long on a reality show, I guess. I liked Kina as well. Jodie was my least fave of the women. I'm having a harder time liking it with the new people they've added.

Their challenges really have been extreme. I don't think I could do any of them, even in my younger years.

I met a girl this weekend who is a Theta alum from FSU. Supposedly, Jillian now goes to FSU and went through recruitment this Fall. She was dropped from all the sororities because they all saw Road Rules and didn't like her...errr...promiscuous reputation.

My daughter went through recruitment at FSU this fall and told me the same thing. Talk about your bad timing, I think her first episode was either right in the middle of rush or the week right before. While I agree her "behavior" was ridiculous, I did feel kinda sorry for her.

It sucks even more for her b/c Patrick probably dropped her after the show was over. He was only using her for sex. He wasn't worth losing out on her chance to join a sorority.
