"forest fire" in North Korea makes 2mile-wide mushroom cloud
SEOUL (Reuters) - A huge explosion rocked North Korea near the border with China three days ago, producing a mushroom cloud that sparked speculation Pyongyang might have tested an atomic weapon, Yonhap news agency reported on Sunday.
Yahoo CNN Reuters CNN: The U.S. official said the cloud could be the result of a forest fire. In all the forest fires we've had in the US... how come none have made a huge mushroom cloud or left a blast crater? |

I have to say BULLSH*T... I have yet to see a forest fire form a mushroom cloud.
Nevermind that North Korea has been suspected of experitmenting with nukes... the fact that this happened near the Chinese border (farther away from spying eyes) and near a missile base is more than a little convient to be explained away by a forest fire story. |
Well maybe the world can help deal with this problem instead of pretending it's just a USA issue now.

Still hasn't happened. They just want to use nukes to extort food and money from the rest of the world. They'll find however, that if they use them, they'll suddenly become as AlphaSig says: A self-illuminated parking lot. |

It's nice that they're developing some infratstructure. I wish they'd have taken pictures of their blowing up a mountain. That would have been some cool stuff to watch.

If this had to happen, I'm glad that it happened near the Chinese border. Now maybe China will be willing to help form a coalition, with teeth, to take on Kim Jong-Il.
