Hello Delta Sigma Theta! Did anyone see the September issue of Jet magazine? It's in crimson and cream this month...

I'm not trying to be petty, but please learn to spell the organization I hold so dear to my heart name correctly.

Did you think I was talking about another organization? Did the spelling cause you not to accept the congratulations I threw your way? I assume that hiding behind a screen name causes some people to be down right rude and totally out of order. Represent your organization by repecting others!You'll see that others will respect you.

Oops I spelled respect wrong. How did Your soror Aretha Franklin spell it? R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Thanks Soror, Gee why does everyone take everything so personal. But for futher reference its spelled Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Just a little humor. By the way I don't have to hide behind a screen name. If you want to email me you just let me know, not a problem. Sometimes we have to learn how to laugh at ourselves.

Sorors, this is a nice article about the convention. Everyone should pick it up! Halle Berry is on the cover, so it shouldn't be hard to miss.

I just returned from my family reunion in the "Bluff" (Pine Bluff, Ar.), and haven't had a chance to go through all of my mail yet. Does anyone know if Jet Magazine is online, and if so what is the website address?

I can get defensive... But at times some comments are made to offend, especially on these types of forums. I didn't know if you were joking or not. I seen people get chewed out for the littlest thing.
