AOII Songbook
I have heard about an aopi songbook before and I was wondering if anyone else has also. I would really like to find out if this is out there and where I can get it. I have been alum for a couple of years now and it would be great to look at the songs again. :)

well, it has been a rumor that I've heard too. Our chapter needs songs and even in AlphaLink, there is a songleader section but there are no songs listed in there. I was really looking forward to the AOII sing along at LI this year (I even brought a tape recorder) but we ran late that night, so there wasn't one :( If anyone comes by this or if a song book (or even better a CD) exists, let me know!
Thanks, Stacey |
I'm hoping it comes together soon too! I offered to help with it, but not sure where the project stands.
What kind of songs are you looking for? I've hand written a couple of our songs on sheet music. Another idea is to ask your CNS if she can help identify a chapter with great singers and songs and see if they'll send you a tape/CD. Heidi |
Have any of you seen the 1906 or 1920 (ish), first and second editions, of the AOII song book? I have the 1931 edition, but I would love to see the earlier ones or at least get some information from them....

There is actually a word-only songbook located on the new website (I can't remember if if is for officers only or everyone, but I do know it is there!)

Thanks, Beryana. I think the one of the website is the same song book that has been on Alpha Link for a while. I would love to get some info from those older books for some research. :) When are coming to see me?
