Pledging while married
This is a quick question that I need clarification on. I read that I probably would not be able to pledge while undergrad if I was married. Is this correct? Any information given would be greatly welcomed.

Please tell me the publication/document in which you read that information?

I'm sorry, I should have given more information. I read this as one of the questions asked on a previous forum through GreekChat. I have not read any documented publication about this? Sorry for the inconvience.

Thanks for the response.

I think I may know what you are talking about...on the 'main' board some NPC (predominately white) sorority members memntioned that if a girl in their sorority got married while still an undergrad she would be deemed 'inactive' and transfered to alumna status. I'n not sure what that means, but you make want to check the general board for more information. Of course if you are looking for specific information on Delta I don't know! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

I think I recall the topic that Eclipse is talking about, and it was towards a NPC sorority (I do believe). As for it being the case within Delta, I haven't heard or known of any prospective members being turned away, who fulfilled all of the requirements, because they were married. Even though a married member would have more responsibilities to oversee (her marriage, the well being of kids (if there are any), her commitment to Delta, her education, a job, if working) Not to say that this all can't be done, it just requires one to schedule and prioritize her time better. Only you know the workload that your body/mind can tolerate, and still allow you to be productive in all that you do.
