he has a 92% rating from Christian Coalition and a 0% from HRC. Good to see him go, maybe he'll get therapy and be true to himself from now on.

Unless there's more to this, it's a sad reason to give up a political career. Last I heard there were other gay lawmakers in the country.

Where does the "selfhating" discription originate?

I think if the person doesn't agree with IowaStatePhiPsi character, he thus becomes self-hating. I am sure this character has made similar remarks about Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter as well.
