Sigma Kappa presenting at Duke!

I saw this up in the Greek Life thread and thought I'd post it over here as well. Duke University is open for expansion and Sigma Kappa is one of the sororities chosen to present! (Kappa Delta and Zeta Tau Alpha are also presenting.)

If selected, our Alpha Psi chapter will be recolonized. Alpha Psi was active at Duke from 1931 to 1967(?). Zeta would be a recolonization too. Not sure about KD.

Current chapters at Duke are
Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Omicron Pi
Alpha Phi
Chi Omega
Delta Delta Delta
Delta Gamma
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Pi Beta Phi

Thinking happy thoughts for our presentation team!

Yay!! How/when can we find out what the decision is?? (Short of getting on the nat'l site?)

Well they're presenting this month. I don't really know when they're going to vote or anything, but I'd guess later this month or early October we'll know? It looks like the best places to follow the process are the Duke Panhellenic site and the Greek Life board here. I bet we'll see it here long before it shows up on the nat'l site.

Well....ZTA got back in...What about us?? It doesn't say anything else about anyone else that was presenting?

I dunno how things went with Simga Kappa but I know both ZTA and KD had once had chapters there so a lot came down to which one was going to get the chance to recolonize. Hopefully in the future Sigma Kappa AND Kappa Delta will join the campus!
