Girls I Need Help Times 10 !!!!!!

Hey girls,
Ok well this Founder's Day is our 35th and we have been working on it for a long time....BUT we really want a good speaker to come and speak...usually we dont have someone Delta Gamma related per-say(and we want someone like that this year)....so can anyone recommend someone for me???? We would sooooooo appreciate it!!! I told my girls not to fret cause my fellow DG GCers would lend us a helping hand!!!
ALSO- we need some help with our website...anyone have any good ideas of professional people to help...in a decent price range!!!
Thanks ever so much girls. I love the way I always know that I can come to ya'll and you'll give awesome advice...it means so much to me and my chapter!!!
ITB, Kayla
P.S.- if anyone wants to email my address is kaylameade_dg@yahoo.com

What about a current Council officer? Or one that helped start the chapter? They visit many chapters each year. Since you are in KY, maybe Shari Malone, Binky Peterson or Carol Nunnelly since they are all in the general area.

pm carolyn (aka cj) whitedaisy128 for info on websites. she was our director of e-com and we won the national award for dg website this year. she could definitely help you out there. try the national president for speaker. it's worth a shot. good luck!

hello, I'm kind of new to this whole thing so I'm not sure how recent this post is or if this is possible for your chapter, but we just had our founding president speak to us this last summer at our recruitment prep. It was absolutely amazing on multiple levels.
Not sure if that's an option or not, but it's a great experience. if not, Martha Brown is also one amazing woman. She may be extremely busy, but she would also be a great speaker. Worth a shot!

I'd DEFINITELY suggest asking the EO President. If she's too busy, try for a regional director or vp:collegians of EO, etc...

Just a point of clarification....EO has no officers, the Fraternity does. The appropriate term is Fraternity President (SHari Malone)
and Fraternity Vice-President:Collegians (Beth Searcy). I suggest you start with Shari....

I agree. I have met Shari before and she is almost always willing to help out! Otherwise, I'm sure that Beth and Carm would be too! All three of them are perfect examples of what a DG exemplifies!

I'm sure they would just have to work around their most likely hectic schedules, but it wouldn't hurt to ask!

If none of them can make it, maybe see if you could get a hold of Marge Gorsline - Gamma Epsilon (Kent State). She is a former Fraternity President and an outstanding woman! She accepted my invitation to represent DG at Sorority Forum last year during recruitment. So I'm sure she'd be honored to do this also!

Sorry... We used to get called out in undergrad for calling EO "Nationals," so I was just replacing "nationals" from an earlier post with "EO." I didn't really know what the proper term was, though...

... Carm is GREAT. I've met her a couple of times ( I guess one of the perks of having a chapter close). She's high-energy, and she'd be a great speaker. I honestly didn't think of her, but she would be a good one.
