My Fantastic Weekend
 

I just got back from Beta Theta's rush retreat, and I have to say that while it was hard work, it was well worth it! The women worked so hard, and I'm really confident that it'll pay off for them in the weeks to come. We had a 'special guest' at our retreat, and she was absolutely fabulous - I'm sure the women would love to have her back!

On a personal note, I had a really touching moment happen this weekend too. We did an exercise to prepare for Preference where we drew questions from a basket - the questions were all questions that a PNM might ask you that night. My question was "What impact has Alpha Phi made on your life?" When I shared my story of how I came to be an Alpha Phi, and how from the moment I met with my sponsor I felt at home, and how the concept of "home" has a new meaning to me now, my sisters started crying. It was a very emotional moment for me, and it's one I'll remember for a long time.

So in short, I'll just say "I LOVE MY SISTERS!"
