I hear what you are saying but find it disheartening. When I see the number of AA men in jail, selling drugs to our own folk in addition to our failure to take care of our own seed I'm troubled by the direction of AA men. Clearly some of us make it but there are many that don't. I know times are hard but that gives no reason to create problems of crime and self hatred. I don't know what type of revival it will take to give the black man the pride if there ever were any pride.

Hotep Brothers. Bro. Professor I agree w/your viewpoint. I am forever attempting to keep an optimistic outlook relative BLACKMANHOOD, because in these trying times there is an onslaught of negativity that is rendered forth BLACKMEN. Ownership must be accounted for by BLACKMEN, but BLACKMEN must NEVER be allowed to be victimized by a system that rewards SELF-HATRED by pitting BLACK WOMEN against BLACK MEN and having BLACK FRICTION and CONFLICT, not to mention other ills that are had upon the BLACKMAN.
