Ato Fire At Ole Miss
 

Please keep the ATOs (Delta Psi chapter) in your prayers. Their house burned last night. The damage is pretty bad and they will probably have to rebuild. The Beta Theta Pi's are helping them with living arrangements currently and I already spoke with their advisor/alumnus who is a friend of mine about them eating dinner at the AOII house.

It is with sad hearts and minds that we provide the following information. Please keep our students and their families in your hearts and prayers. Three students are unaccounted for following an early-morning fire at the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house on the University of Mississippi campus.


The fire broke out at approximately 4:30 a.m., and more than 50 firefighters from two departments fought the blaze for nearly two hours. Twenty-three students and a house mother were in the house when the fire started.

Further details will be released as they become available.

guys i am so sorry about this. you've all been on my mind and everyone in my hometown this weekend. a brother that lived in the house is from my hometown and a personal friend and we're all speechless...

ATOs are in our prayers. This tragedy not only hit hard at Ole Miss, but all ATO chapters. I know our guys are still grieving!

The ATO house at Ole Miss has been torn down. They should begin rebuilding soon from what I hear. They have had so many donations from all over. I know they are thankful to all.

I just visited the new house for the weekend. It is amazing, and the guys have actually used this as an opportunity to start fresh and they are building a great chapter.
