What have people thought your letters spelled?
 

Just reading the thread about letters on your butt and a person thinking SDT's letters spelled "eat" made me wonder what words people have come up with that they thought your letters spelled?

I'll start. I have a key chain that says I heart DPhiE but in the Greek letters. I once had a girl say" What does that say~~I love earth?" I also had someone say it looked like "APE" was spelled on my chest:rolleyes:

i've heard "what's oee?" and a couple of people had said, "why are you wearing pee on your shirt??"

haha!

I get "what is ZOB/ZOE"

"What's K, K, upside-down L?"

"miss caro, what does the triangle, circle with the stick through it, and the e on your shirt stand for?" - one of my 3rd graders last year (i used to work in aftercare) =)

Chideltjen is a screenname I have on another board. It's not greek, so I've been referred to as Chid for short.

I've also heard "Chie" rather than "Kai." I actually a friend say "you don't pronounce chinese food 'Kai-neese food.'" :rolleyes:

ETA: for the letters themselves... I've heard we're the X triangle sorority or the X-Change sorority. (Joke for all the math majors out there...)

We had an officer retreat a few years back where some kids came looking for the "E N" Party.

I thought Beta Theta Pi looked like BOP.

Most non-greeks I encounter usually have that funny look on their face. They just ask "what sorority is that?". :)

"wow, you must really like triangles!"

i coach a swim team where i wore my shirts almost everyday - all the little kids were like "I like circles more!" :cool:

Someone once me while I was wearing Pi Beta Phi letters: "Oh, do you work for HBO?"

I worked for a french company a few years ago, and apparently "ZOB" is slang for a part of the male anatomy.
