wearing your letters on your rear?
I've noticed this twice in the last week at Iowa State- sorority girls wearing their GLO's letters on the rear of their shorts...
to me it just doesn't seem appropriate. What's the thought on this? |
I HATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT
To me your letters should never be on ur ass. I see a few girls on my campus with the bootie letters and its not cute to me.. |
i have NO problems with that :)
|
I think it's cool.
Whatever it's not your sorority or letters. -Rudey |
I would never wear my letters below my waist.
|
I would never wear letters there, just because you're supposed to respect your letters, not sit on them!
I seem to remember reading on here somewhere when someone saw a Sigma Delta Tau girl wearing the butt shorts and thought it said EAT. Whoops. ;) |
Would never wear letters on my azz but would wear it going down my leg or written down my leg saying Alpha Phi Omega.

I think it's tacky and shows disrespect for the organization.

co-sign with measi.
we actually have a clause in our constitution prohibiting the wearing of letters on your butt. we also have rules on the color of the letters on apparel. our colors are white and gold and the gold ALWAYS has to be touching the white. and that's it. no variations allowed. |

Not to be nosy, just didn't quite understand. |
If other people want to wear letters on their butts, that's their business, but you wouldn't catch me doing it!!!
|
So if you saw your sister/brother wearing letters on their butt would you say anything?
|
no prob Senusret I.
the color of the fabric of the greek letters has to be a. gold by itself but then the gold must touch white. so the shirt has to be white. you cant get gold only letters on a khaki shirt or any other colored shirt. now if you get the iron on greek letters, or the stitched on ones, you can get gold and white together, (at least at our greek store you can). usually we get the gold fabric with white stitching and then you can put that on whatever shirt / jacket etc color you want. does that make sense? here are some examples... blue shirt with letters, white shirt with letters, black shirt with letters http://home.comcast.net/~ambicion6/2.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~ambicion6/1.jpg |
It's not my preference, either. If I did it would be strictly around-the-house pants, not going-out-in-public pants. But I'm not going to chide those who do.
At least they're wearing clothes and not some hootchie mama outfit. |
