MTV’s Gift Bag For The Already Spoiled
Yeah…like they couldn’t afford this stuff on their own. The 2004 MTV Video Music Awards are less than a week away, but the big news today has to do with what’s in the gift bags that the presenters, performers and winners will all take home. Check out the stuff: a charm bracelet with either diamond stars, or guitar or musical notes, a limited edition martini pendant with point .60 carats of pink sapphires on a 16 inch chain, an Apple iPod mini featuring an inMotion portable audio system, the “Glow” fragrance from J-Lo, and a gift certificate for one thousand dollars worth of Kreiss furniture, accessories or bed linens. Other freebies inside the bag include a gift certificate from RockResorts for that special getaway to an exotic desert sanctuary or a snug mountain hideaway, Versace sunglasses, and a Kron Chocolatier sculpted exact replica of the Moonman statue that’s 12 inches high and weighs four pounds. Total retail value in each bag?… Over $16,000.

ARGH!!!
Dang! Celebrities always get stuff that they can afford to buy for free. That really burns me up...ok I'm going to stop hating now...
Anyhoo, I am really excited about the MTV awards. Something good happens every year. Last year I was losing my mind when they announced Guns-N-Roses as the closing act. Sorry but Welcome to the Jungle was my jam. With Dave Chappelle hosting, this almost promises to be interesting. |

Random VMA Thoughts:
Why did Usher just put Chili on blast on the VMA's? Was it just me or was it kind of obvious he was talking about her? And does he know its raining? Since when did 40 year old Vivica Fox become a VMA video girl? Vivica, you made it...you don't have to do that anymore. Now sit down before you break a hip. Beyonce is a lot prettier when she's less blonde. Stevie Wonder!! Yaaay! Vote or Die? Isn't that a little harsh? How 'bout I just vote, OK? I could never be famous, cause I'd shoot the first "fan" that screamed bloody murder in my face for no reason. Thats all for now...more later. :) |
WHERE IS DAVE CHAPELLE?
WHY DID THEY BOO THE KERRY'S...THAT WAS A BAD MOVE ON MTV PART TO PUT THE DAUGHTERS ON THERE! |
Thank God!!! Alicia Keys won the Best R&B Award.. I think that entire category was pitiful. I just don't consider Usher and Beyonce R&B... Brandy I'm not sure..

Girl, we are on the same page. If "vote or die" really were the case, about 75% of the American population will be wiped out by the time the polls close on November 2. That "vote or die" mess is taking it too far. Are mohawks the new "in" thing? |
VMA's oh my
The no host thing was weird to me. I think I actually prefer there to be a host.
They have been playing that USher version onthe radio here for weeks. I wasn't looking and missed Vivy. LOL at the "sit down efore you break a hip" Nice attempt to get your names in the paper Beyonce and Jayz with the What's up B` What's up Jay. I hae Puffy's hair. I wanted Mase to STFU with that Welcome Back crap. I think he was using Vote or die a a play on Ride or die. And if people thought about it as 75% of people would be dead after 11/2 for not vting if that were the case, maybe they would actually vote. Most other countries peole die trying to vote ans we can and won't. Quote:

I don't watch the MTV Awards, but I did turn and see Puffy and Bruce Willis, and what was up with Puff's hair. That mohawk thing is not what's up. I also saw Will Smith reppin with the Phillies Jersey. This was all during the time that Fat Joe was on stage doing his "Lean Back" song. Please someone anyone...please post some pics so I can see what "B" looked like.
Oh, and I turned for another quick second, and I saw Dave Chappelle....ummm why does he look like he is on crack? I mean he is my boy and all, but damn...he he he. |
