So ladies,
I thought you could help me out with something. Right now I'm the VPAR of my chapter. Its lots of fun and I love it, but I have wanted to be VPNME. I only have 3 semesters left (I'm a senior who will be staying in the fall) so most likely I wont be on exec next semester. I have a chance to run for VPNME this semester ... should I do it?

if you want it, go for it. can you be nominated for VPAR if you don't get VPNME? i'd say go for it either way.

I'm VPAR now ... so if I dont get it then I stay VPAR ... its mid exec year and someone had to drop their position ....

You should absolutely try! It'll be a great experience!!!

The only way you will ever know if you can get it is if you try... so try. Whats the worst that could happen?

I loved being VPNME, tons of work but so much fun and so rewarding. If you have wanted it and you have a chance to do it, then I say at least throw your hat into the ring and see what happens. Go for it, girl!:D

I'd say go for it too. I always wanted to be VPNME but I couldn't for various reasons. Maybe I can live vicariously through you...;)

I'm sorry it didn't work out sweetie.... I always hated elections because things like that would always come up. Elections always turned into a crying fest with all the hurt feelings.

If it counts... I don't think you are abrasive or unapproachable.
