help me plan a much-needed vacation
 

Hey ladies :) I want to plan a much-needed mini-vacation. I am trying to stay within driving distance of the NYC area. Any ideas of good places to go? Not too much $$$$, either. Also dog friendly too would be great. I've never been to Maine so I was contemplating heading up north. I am thinking of taking 5 days towards the end of September.

I have relatives in Kennebunkport, ME and it is a great place to visit!

Poconos is fun if you have friends with you, but it's a lot of family stuff. Unless you like hiking and fishing. Not much is free :) Rooms can be pricey if it's a popular weekend.

What about Cape Cod! :)

I was actually thinking Cape Cod too;) I haven't been there since I was really little. Plus we could always hang out in Boston too which would be fun!
