I noticed on the Greek Life forum there was a thread about Franklin & Marshall College re-recognizing GLOs.

Zeta's Alpha Tau chapter closed in 1988 when the college "de-recognized" greeks.

Anyone know if we will go back? The college's own web site acknowledges our presence, by listing ZTA in the "inactive chapters" list there. And there are only 3 sororities listed, so maybe ZTA would fill a niche on campus?

I didn't think that ZTA had a chapter at Franklin & Marshall.

The link does say ZBT's Alpha Tau chapter was there from 1930-1988. Did you read that instead? I sometimes will mistake ZBT for ZTA when glancing at the letters really quick. :)

Rats. You are right. And I just pulled out my hard copy of ZTA chapters (pre-new web site) and saw that the AT chapter, which is inactive, was at Univ of MN.

Do you think we will get a chapter there anyway? It's a nice school. My brother almost went there, and I think they would haev a great base for a ZTA colony.

oh I hope we go there; I almost went there as well! It's a beautiful school, and I think ZTA would do great @ F&M :)
