DZ Fall 2004 Recruitment Update!!!
 

Hey gals, since many schools have already began fall recruitment, I thought it'd be a great idea to keep everyone posted with what's going onin other chapter's. My chapter doesn't have fall recruitment unitl October, and I can't wait!! I hope everyone who has started is having a wonderful time!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing some great results!!!

Alpha Theta - U of Kentucky pledged a quota class of 61 baby turtles!!! WOOOHOOOO!

Epsilon Upsilon Chapter
 

Epsilon Upsilon/University of Central Oklahoma pledged 20 baby turtles! Quota was 19.

WooHooo!!!

So exciting ALREADY!

Congrats to the chapters who have pledged baby turtles already!

I'll keep ya'll updated on Kappa Epsilon in the next month or so, as we begin recruitment! :)

Zeta Pi and Beta Xi Chapters
 

Zeta Pi chapter at University of Georgia met quota with 61 new members and Beta Xi at Auburn University met quota with 55!!!

Sigma Chapter
 

Sigma Chapter at LSU welcomed 80 baby turtles!!!! This was the 45th consecutive year that Sigma has met quota. Wow!!

Kappa Tau Chapter at Morehead State University has 15 new baby turtles!!! Quota was 16. We are very excited!

Just an update...we gave a bid to our last new memeber. We now have 16 new babies and we are above total with 63!!

Pi Alpha, Beta Delta, and Alpha Gamma Chapters
 

Pi Alpha Chapter at University of Florida made quota with 56 baby turtles, Beta Delta Chapter at University of South Carolina met quota + 1 with 49, and Alpha Gamma Chapter at University of Alabama welcomed 57 new members and quota was 58.

Tonight is preference night for the Iota Iota chapter at Middle Tennessee State University. Although I am on the other side of recruitment, I can't help but be excited. I know quota, but won't tell...we want quality over quanity anyday...plus with next year's NPC rules going into effect, quota will no longer be an umbrella number...instead, each chapter of each NPC sorority on every campus will have a different quota number than everyone else...but I am still very exicted about recruitment 2004! Iota Iota seems to be doing quite well...I've kinda kept myself out of it b/c I can't let myself get upset or bogged down...I have 7 chapters to worry about! Plus it's out of my hands...but I have FAITH!!! We will get TERRIFIC members!!! I'll let you know how it goes by the end of the week!!!

Lambda Pi Chapter at Georgia College and State University met quota with 33 new members!

Region XII Update
 

Texas State: Quota= 33, DZ=37 (they took 3 additional juniors and 1 quota plus!)

Texas A&M: Quota=52, DZ=52!!!!!

Angelo State: Quota=13, DZ bidmatched 13, although 12 showed up for bid day (1 needed some time to think about it). This chapter has doubled in size with recruitment b/c they started with 11 women!!!! Total is 38 so they will be COB'ing some more this semester. I'm very proud of them!
