Alumnae Chapter

Hello Ladies,

I just found this website yesterday(7-2-00), and I might add it is fantastic! Well I am writing about grad-chapters. When I was in undergrad many years ago, I didn't have the opportunity to pledge. There was only one line while I was in school, and that was my sophmore year. Unfortunately I was not ready at that time. I am ready now, and have been doing my community service faithfully. To make a long story a little shorter, I have contacted the president of the alumnae chapter in my area, and have been to the functions that the president has made me aware of. My question is, since this particular chapter has not had a line since 1995.(I think that was the year of the last line)I didn'try for that line in 1995 because I didn't have any community service for that particular area, which you must have. When might they be taking on another line. I know I must be babbling at this point, and I do apologize, but I am starting to feel that I missed my time when in under-grad. I have sent several emails to the National HQ's but have never heard any response from them. Any kind of response from you will be most grateful. :-) :-) :-)

KL, Might I suggest that you read this message board...go back to page 6 or whatever the last page is. Many of your questions/concerns have already been addressed.

Also, you will more than likely NOT get a response from our National Headquarters via email because that email address on the official website is for website questions and concerns not membership information. The best thing to do is read this board which, again, you will see, has a lot of information to help you.

Good Luck

Thank you for replying back, and I will defintely check out where you referred me to. Thank you also for the words of good luck, and I will continue doing my community service, as well as my research. I will continue to hope and pray that my time will finally arrive. Again thank you. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Wow..this was a while back!

Does anyone ever go back and read their old posts (senior members)?

Do you think you've changed since then?

christiangirl 11-25-2005 10:16 PM

LOL, I didn't see the date on the first post. I'm sitting here thinking, "Wow, I could've sworn she was a member already....":)

Kim, I can't believe it has been 5 years. And I'm so proud of myself for responding so nicely to you. Who would have known that you would be a "special" person in my life today and one who has helped me in more ways than you know. (((((((kim))))))
