Oh heavinly father, I bear witness that you are not to be questioned. In these trying times, please try to make this here brother understand and realize why the way in which a great many brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc of which you gave the universe SEVEN JEWELS has undergone much elimination of tradition and ways & means through which the BROTHERHOOD was able to MANIFEST and be about BROTHERHOOD unlike it APPEARS to be TODAY. Oh heavinly father, I accept your decision, guidance, wisdom and am ever so blessed to be able to have you in my life for you are the embodiment of ALPHA. I humbly ask that you bring forth leadership in the form and like of BROTHER DARRYL MATTHEWS to be open and willing to BRING SOME of the PAST to the PRESENT for the strengthening of the FUTURE. Oh heavinly father, if LINES can be allowed along with SMOKERS to be had, along with MARCHING and CHANTING, and "CALLERS" of LINES to be allowed to be in PUBLIC not HIDDEN perhaps this will ENHANCE a GREAT BROTHERHOOD and prevent such from being and appearing to evolve into an OTHERHOOD. Oh heavinly father, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE allow for lines to be be allowed and uniformity to be shown by dress and brick carrying. Oh heavinly father when I hope to gain admission into your domain and be able to look down along with THE JEWELS and too smile knowing that ALPHA PHI ALPHA FRATERNITY, INC. continues to be SELECTIVE, CHALLENGING, and not made EASY for MEN to seek and obtain. With these and blessings I commence forth by stating, "AMEN."
