How is your School of Education set-up?

To get into the School of Ed:
21 or higher of ACT/passing of Praxis I
Philosophy of Education paper
Conceptual Framework paper
2 TB tests
Background Check
3.0 or higher in Speech, Comp I & Comp II courses

To Student Teach:
Passing of Praxis II
"C" or higher in all your finished classes

Programs:
2 Year:
Early Childhood (PreK)
4-5 Year:
Early Childhood (K-3)
Middle Childhood (4-9)
-Must have 2 concentrations; language arts, social studies, math, science
Adolescent to Young Adult (9-12)
Invervention Specialist (Special Education)
Multi Age Music/Art (K-12)

Elon School of Ed:

Admission
2.5 GPA
Pass all three Praxis I exams
Fill out an application, and write an essay on why you wish to be a teacher.
Interview with the education faculty

For Student Teaching
Maintain a 2.5
Must have at least a "C" in all methods and ed courses
Fill out an application
Must have approval from department chair.

Elon offers elementary ed, middle school ed (middle have to specialize in two subjects), secondary ed, and special subjects such as languages and music.
