Complaining about my chapter
 

So Beginning Day is approx. 2 weeks away, and my chapter has *NOT* had a planning meeting for the upcoming sorority year. I sent out an e-mail to all of my sisters about a week ago, asking when we were having a meeting, and got one response back, saying that it was the president's job to arrange such a meeting. And now, nothing. I'm just really frustrated, because I've missed sorority during the summer, and I'm really anxious for it to start again, but it seems like we aren't going to do anything... :mad: :(

I'm sorry to hear of your frustrations. It's tough when you are looking forward to something and it doesn't go the way you expected. Here's hoping things look brighter soon!

Hey Nicole~

I'd suggest just getting in contact with the President, seeing if she's okay, and ask her if she'd like some help. Maybe she's a bit overwhelmed and with the lull in the summer, it's slipped her mind how close start dates are again. :)

If anything, maybe she'll give you the reins for Beginning Day to get stuff started!
