AOTTAdvisor's friend's recruitment
 

Hello all-
I am sorry this probaley won't be as good as some recruitment stories but I have a good family friend going through recruitment at UF and she has been giving me updates, so I thought I would post them and then get her on here as soon as she(hopefully) goes greek!
Yesterday as the first day and so far, her favorites are(using nicknames now!)Coke, Pepsi, Sprite and Mountain Dew. She said she really felt at home at Sprite and Pepsi and that Mountain Dew and Coke were super friendly. I know all of those groups are awesome, so I am very happy for her. She finds out where she gets invited back to later today, so I will keep you all as updated as she keeps me!
I will say that I did write her a rec for AOII at UF, so even though I want her to keep an open mind, I am still kind of hopeful she goes AOII!!

Good luck to your friend! I'm sure she will find the place that feels like home, and the women that will love her for who she really is!!! Keep us posted.....

So, I talked to my friend last night and she is having a great time with recruitment. She went to the rest of the houses yesterday at UF and she meets with her Pi Chi(or Rho Chi) at 11:00am and promised to email me or IM me where she is going back too.
She said that even after she went to a lot more houses, she still liked her top 4 from the day before and was really liking "Sprite" still.
I can't wait to hear from her!!

Hey all--just got off the phone with my friend at UF and my heart is hurting for her. She did get dropped from some houses, including a house where her cousin was a member(but not at that school), and Moutain Dew and Pepsi, which she liked, so she is a little more gun shy I think but she is going back to 7 WONDERFUL houses and out of her top 4, she is going back to three of them,so I think she will be fine. So, tommorow she is going back to:

Coke(a favorite)
Sprite(a favorite)
Dr. Pepper(a new favorite)
7-Up
OrangeAid
Tab
Root Beer

I promise to keep you all updated but please keep her in your thoughts. We all know how hard the recruitment process can be and I just want her to find a home as wonderful as AOII has been for me!!

I'm sorry to hear that, but especially how it is at UF,the process is pretty cut throat. I am sure she will find a home nevertheless. She still has 7(lucky number) wonderful houses to choose from. I will have her in my thoughts.But everything happens for a reason and she will find that reason soon enough.Good Luck to her and keep us posted.:D

congrats to her! i am glad she has added a new favorite...especially since it is dr. pepper...lol, i could drink that stuff till i turned brown!

Just a quick update for all you junkies---
Today my friend went back to

And she really seemed to like them all. She said she felt she had really good conversations at Coke and Dr. Pepper and that OrangeAid had not been one of her favorites at first but she had a good time there today and that made her feel a little better.
