Subject: Nu Eta Sigma Chapter (Tokyo Alumni)

Dear Frat/Sorors,
I would like to introduce you to the newest chapter of Sigmas, Nu
Eta Sigma Chapter. We now have an active Sigma Chapter in Japan,
yes Japan. Most of our membership hail from the military and DOD
civilians. Our first initiate will be Bro. Gerrick S. Garrett who
will be receiving his formal initiation on Sunday August 15th, 2004.
The founders of the Chapter are Bro. James B. Carr (Delta Theta
Spr'89) President, Bro. Chuck Dickerson (Delta Nu Spr'95)Vice-
President, Bro. Keith Ferguson (Delta Zeta Fall'96),Bro. Mike Pope
(Pi Alpha Wntr'90) Secretary/Treasurer, and Bro. David Jefferson
(Delta Theta Spr'89). We are pleased to bring the Light of Sigma to
the Japan Mainland.
Let me not forget the Sorors who are working diligently to bring
Zeta our sister Sorority to the Japanese mainland as well. Soror
Nicole Carr (Xi Kappa Spr'02 and my wife) is the Basileus trying to
get the charter.
