What is this about a recommendation? I've never heard of such a thing to rush Sigma Kappa... maybe it is just not in our area?

It doesn't have to do with your chapter of Sigma Kappa, it usually has to do with the way recruitment is run at your school. Lots of chapters don't require recs, but they're nice to have as a way to introduce someone you know to the sorority. You can do personal recs or just informative recs-the latter probably being the most popular at schools that require recommendation letters for every greek org you intend to rush.

my question would be.. is there a certain college where you are looking to join?? b/c a recommendation from an alumni of that chapter might prove more helpful!

She rushed in 2004 at San Diego State and went KD. :)
