Take advantage of pre-rush events!

Although I'm not in yet, I would like to say take advantage of pre-rush/recruitment events, if your school has one. Go to the Open House or whatever your school has. It will be beneficial for you, because you'll meet the sorority or fraternity members.

We had open house, I went to it, and was glad I did. I reccomend it if you're considering it.

Definitely! That's how I met most of the KD house before rush even began!

Well, we have a student organization fair called Blast Off the day before classes start. All the sororities have tables set up as well as a Panhellenic rush registration table.

Another big event is Greek Info Night on Sept. 8th- three days before rush starts. All the sororities are there. Most groups require at least half of their girls to be there. It's a great opportunity for registered PNM's to mingle with sorority women and ask questions.

I STRONGLY recommend participating in these types of events. That way sisters are familiar with you before rush and you stand out.
