Violet border
 

Okay here's the thing. Like I mentioned in Prayer Requests I am trying to buy my first home. If all works out one of the things I would like to do is have each room it's own "theme". One of the rooms I would really like to have an ADPi theme going on, since ADPi is such a huge part of my life. So I was thinking of having a Violet border and then paint the room a purple color, thing is I can't seem to find a Violet border. Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to look? If I have to order online that is fine, but I would love this.

Sticking with the whole ADPi theme does anyone know where I could find cute Lion border?


(am I just a little obsessed with ADPi? LOL)

I know wal-mart once had violet wallpaper in their bathroom decor, but I don't know if they still do.


I didn't have any luck searching just for lion wallpaper borders, unless you want lion king. But here is a safari wall paper that would look great! (And you could use lots of animal print too. :)

There is a beautiful violet border made, I think by Waverly. They do an entire violet themed room, both for a bedroom and for accenting any other room - wallpaper, border, fabric, tablecloth, and bed linens. I've seen this in a few catalogs (JC Penney's was one), but it can be overpowering. I'll do a search & see what I find for you!

That one used to be in the bathroom at the BT house!

LOL - the other border I posted is in the Chapter Room at Alpha Iota!

Of course, the wallpaper that's in their entrance hallway is the same that's in my mother's bathroom - that vinyl type!

Both of those borders were in the old UNT Chapter room, before we were lucky enough to have a house. It will be interesting to see if they resurface in the new house.

This print was the Beta Tau dining room on the dorm side of the house!

There is several others as well. Let me contact my old boss at the Interior Design firm I was at and talk to her about it. We had books and books and books of borders and I remember finding like 15 diff ones before. I know too that I had a diff one then the ones shown when I was in college, my step mom bought me a comforter and sheets set and it came with a violet border, let me see if I can find out that name too. Ill get back to you on all that.:D


If not, I do know at a lot of craft places you can either buy a foam stamp in the shape of a violet, or you can do look at their painting things and there is like a violet print you can do as a border, both are pretty cute.
