Inexpensive Gift for a 12 year old girl?
 

I have a really wonderful neighbor who is starting middle school in a few weeks and I wanted to buy her a small gift to celebrate. I was thinking of a piece of costume jewelry or something; in the 15-20 dollar range.

Anyone have any ideas? I was looking around Limited Too when I took my girls shopping there, but I wasn't sure if 12 is too old for the stuff they have there or not.

My neighbor, who is 14, LOVES Claire's. She saves all her allowance and spends it all there on jewelry and accessories. Maybe something cute from there or a gift card?

I completely agree on Claires/Afterthoughts type stores. But as to what she would purchase from there I draw a blank. I'd definitely suggest a gift certificate!

What if you made a manicure kit? I loved doing my nails when I was that age, and I loved collecting different nail colors. You could buy an inexpensive container and fill it will polish, files, etc.
