No, I'm no longer the moderator.
I resigned.
The Sigma Kappa Forum is currently
without a moderator.

I am sorry to hear that you're no longer our moderator. Would I be too nosy if I asked why? Please feel free to tell me to mind my own business. Sometimes I'm too curious for my own good.

Out of curiosity, how do you get to be a moderator?

the main reason i asked was because i wanted to know if the "NEW SISTERS/GC-ers REPORT HERE FIRST!" thread could be permanently put at the top of our thread list. that way it doesn't get lost/forgotten if no one posts for a while. . .and it's an up to date list of all the fabulous GC sigma kappas! ;)

To clarify on the moderator position...
The main reason I resigned was because
I simply wasn't visiting GC enough to
really "moderate" any activity.

If you want to be the Sigma Kappa moderator
simply email John and ask him.

That was the thought when I started the thread....and then I realized that we had no one to tack it up there (because there is no mod). Hm. :(

could we get another moderator to do it?

how about someone (a sister) just become a moderator for us. someone email John and see what he says.

I already did & asked that the new moderator be a sister. He hasn't replied yet but I did also say that there were plenty of great ladies who would do it.

I had PM'd him a few times around this time last year asking to be mod, but he was really busy (he said) and never got around to it. When this thread popped up, I PM'd him again letting him know that even if he didn't have time to mod anyone right now, could he please stick that thread to the top of the forum. I would really like to be a mod... And if not me, I'd really like it to be a sister. Perhaps it'd be an idea for everyone to send John a PM telling him that we don't want to be undmoderated/who we'd like??

da126, if you're willing to be mod, i'll definately pm john. that goes for anyone else who wants to do it too.

One thing that I liked about our forum is that we really don't need a moderator. I love how everyone gets along & respects each other. I do think it would be nice to be/have a moderator to do simple things like "sticky" stuff to the top of our forum & write an introduction but I don't think its necessary!
