moving into the house

:D I am moving into my sorority (Pi Phi) house for the first time in about two weeks and I am SOOOO EXCITED!

Okay ladies (and gentlemen). . . tell me the one thing that you absolutely love about living in your house!! I know that I can't wait to have a great roomie and live with tons of other girls that I love!

I have absolutely looooved living in the Theta house and am looking forward to it again this year.

My favorite thing has been how close I've gotten to a lot of my sisters. I got to know a lot of them better and there is just something about living with people that opens you up to them in different ways than those you don't live with.

Have fun this year!

Spontaneity. :)

You always know what is going on in the sorority and the Greek System, and there is always something to do! You'll be dragged to a study group, shopping, the intramural fields to watch the girls play a game, make a sign or banner, watch TV, workout together, etc.

Also remember, living in a house full of girls is an estrogen-fest. Remember to find a special spot on campus for non-sorority time, and even though you live with sisters, always lock your door when you are not in your room. Many people come in and out of a sorority house on a daily basis. Also, lock your door when you go to sleep at night. Be safe!

I loved getting to know girls that I had not gotten to before.

Always having someone around when you need to talk (the sisters I lived in the house with helped me get through a really tough breakup).

I always tell people that they should live in the house, even if they don't think they want to. I wasn't excited about it at first, but now I have so many great memories! :)

Looking back and hearing so many great stories, I wish we were able to live in our house. I did live with 2 of my pledge sisters in a house, but it didn't compare to what it would've been like living with a lot of them.

Wow, those are all the great things that I'm looking forward to! I can't wait. . . :)

I'm looking forward to moving into the house (for my third and final year) because of our open kitchen which our cook keeps stocked with fabulous food. ;) AND because my little is moving into the house and I'm excited to spend some quality time with her!

Really getting to know some sisters you might not have otherwise, and always having someone to do something with!

Living in the House keeps you in better touch with what is going on with The Chapter, not second hand!

It can and will be stressful if you are use to living in your own little room alone. Eye opening experience and fun! Give and take is part of the process of finding not only your self but about others!:D
Oh god, Bras and Panties, maybe pillow fights, talking about each others problems.

It is called a learning experience and growing. That is what will make You a Better Person in The Real World upon Graduation!

Have a Damn good Time!:D

We don't have houses at Valpo, but I'm really excited about living in corridor. We get half of a hall in the upperclass women / sorority dorm.
