Frat boys develop way to keep kegs cold
Associated Press Aug. 9, 2004 08:20 AM CLEVELAND - Leave it to some frat brothers to figure out how to keep a keg cold. Three college buddies were tired of melting ice, leaking trash cans and warm brew. Then Adam Hunnell, a grad student at Cleveland's Case Western Reserve University, had a flash of inspiration. He developed a refrigerated blanket they call Keg Wrap. It can be plugged into a standard electric outlet or a car cigarette lighter. Hunnell and two fraternity brothers have gotten a $20,000 entrepreneur grant to develop their hot - or rather, very cool - idea. |

We had some kind of contraption that would feed the beer through a tube that was in an ice chest and it'd come out ice-cold.
But I like this idea as well. |
Only in Ohio would this happen!

He actually went to West Virginia Wesleyan College.
But gotta give a big shout out to CWRU, we can engineer a better party. |
