You know you are an AOII when...
 

To borrow a GREAT idea from the Pi Phi thread...

You know you are an AOII when...
1) You have so many pandas that you actually have to buy a bed for them.
2) You only want red roses...especially at your wedding.
3) You hear the song "The Rose" and tears come to your eyes.
4) At your formal, the guys ask if you are going to sing the "Flaming Alpha Song" anytime soon.
5) You have tons of those "bubble guards" for your badge because they are so easy to lose and you can't wear a guard.
6) And, my favorite....You buy a car because it is the exact color of a jacqueminot rose.

You know your an AOII when:

1. Anytime you leave your state for a road trip you are always looking for other AOIIs on the road with AOII on their cars...
2. You talk about AOII all of the time to your non-greek friends
3. Some of your conversations begin, "This one time at the AOII house or one time while my AOII sisters and I were..."
4. You look at your badge for no reason...
5. You have a picture of your chapter house framed in your living room
6. You have needlepointed pillows with AOII on them
7. You think about AOII at least 5 times a day
8. You love the color cardinal and you look good in it!
9. When you babysit (which I do for my friend's neice) you tell her how she would make a wonderful AOII some day, even though her mother was a Tri Delta at Mississippi State...
10. You asked headquarters when you could move in to the Brentwood, TN Estate and that you would not get in the way at all
11. You love hearing how other AOII chapters are doing and you cannot wait to hear about their recruitment results
12. You still buy tee-shirts from the collegiate chapter nearest you

1. You decorate your bedroom around the colors in the "Reflections of Sisterhood" print.
2. Your husband fully expects that the nursery decor for your new baby girl will have roses in it somewhere.
3. You choose "Old Country Roses" for your china pattern because it reminds you of AOII.
4. You ask your husband to buy you AOII jewelry for Christmas.
5. You look for any and every opportunity to wear your AOII badge
6. Your husband plants a rose garden for you for Mother's Day and you insist that he special orders Jacqueminot roses for it--and you know exactly where to get them!

And birthdays and Mother's day and Valentine's day and anniversaries and International Friendship Day and Ground Hog Day and Halloween and All Saint's Day and and and.....

I guess it could be all summed up...

You know you are an AOII when your husband has the first name and telephone number of the director of the Emporium in his wallet for jewelry emergencies. ;)

1) When you move across the country each time, you say to your hubby "Hey - there better be an alumnae chapter in {enter city}or it may be hell for you"

2) Every time you visit IKEA, you think "hey, I think rose motif would ROCK in every room!"

3) All your thank you cards and note cards have roses on them.

4) When you are shopping, and you think "Man, I really need this new red top for Red & White Day at Convention" ... and you just got BACK from Convention .....
