Introduction
 

Hello sorors!
Let me properly introduce myself to you. I am a newly initiated member (3-31-00) into a southern California Alumnae Chapter. I'd like to say that I've been looking at this site for a few days, and I am honored to have been given the chance, after six years, to become a woman of Delta Sigma Theta. So a hearty "oooooooo-oooooop" to all of my beautiful, intelligent and wonderful sisters. It is truly an honor to be called "soror" by women such as yourselves.

I have only posted on this forum once before but I wanted to send my sincerest congratulations to all new sorors. Welcome to a DYNAMIC sisterhood! Deltaluv, I am going to be relocating to southern California this summer and am very interested in joining an alumnae chapter there. Please feel free to e-mail me and I can tell you my destination. I just might have to hit you up personally since I am in NO MAN'S LAND close to where you are. I have been in a dire need to see some sorors.

Thank you Sorors for the warm reception! My first 30 days of "Deltadom" have been quite busy. Let's see...I've already been bombarded with requests for recommendations, and snubbed by quite a few "individualist" friends, and I've also encountered a perp...but that's okay! The warm reception that I receive every time I run into a Soror (even women I've never met), the satisfied feeling I get from working on the many projects our chapter oversees with my "sands", the way they call me just to say hello, or to check up on me to make sure I'm okay...these things make being a Delta a blessing!

Greeting to all of my beautiful sorors!!

I am a newly initiated member of the greatest sorority ever!! 4-14-00 into the Alaska Alumnae Chapter. This is my first day visiting this site and I wanted to properly introduce myself. I have been wanting to become a member for about 4 years now. I vowed to myself at my graduation (C/O 99 Hampton University!!) that I would follow my heart and become a member. I have now attained that goal!! Enough mushy stuff!
