Heading to Pigeon Forge TN
Any of our TN gals have any advice on PF? Gonna be there this weekend for a wedding of a childhood friend. We're staying at Alpine Lodge
Any suggestions while we're there? Won't have a great deal of time - but thought if there was a "can't miss" place I should atleast ask. Heidi |
I been to Pigeon Forge/Gatinberg before. Its been about 5 years, but I'm sure not much as changed.
Defintely check out the outlet shopping (there is a Coach outlet there too :D ). And there was also live ghost show was too fun. I went during the winter so everything else I did is probably not available now (ice skating, riding the ski lift). Have fun and a safe trip! |
PF is a great area. Mr. Silver and I hang out there often. Dollywood is truly fun. As for dinner, there is an AMAZING B&B that offers a 4-course dinner for around $28 per person. PLEASE PM me if you want details. Mr. Silver and I like the Go-Kart track and enjoy the Outlets. There are two antique malls near the interstate that are definite "do not miss." PM me with any questions...

AOIISilver - Mr. Hope is gonna freak out when I tell them they have ANTIQUE MALLS. lol Perhaps I can sneak away Saturday morning and check them out. I'm from the former Pottery Capital of the World - the East Liverpool, OH / Newell, WV area. And I'm really into Hall China and Homer Laughlin China (especially Fiesta Ware - count to date is service for 22  )
Can't wait!!! I think we're going to that Ghost Show, Honey on Saturday. I think there's like 20 of us in our group that will be there. So... not sure if I'll make the B&B. But if we completely love the area, we might hafta go back and then we'll check out the B&B next time. ;-) Thanks for the rec's ladies. |
