"It Could Happen To You" -- Cop splits $4M lottery ticket with waitress, loses everything when wife Muriel takes him to court, yet NY still gives him and Bridget Fonda a $600,000 tip.

Why dysfunctional? Just cause of the age difference? Do you people live in the real world?

Or are you still operating under the assumptions that reality conforms to flippant pop culture Shouldisms?

whatever. call me conservative, but marriage should be done right the first time. i know that puts me in a dream world with divorce between 60% and 70%. i am just tired of hearing how people regret getting married to a certain person. i wish God would speak loudly from the sky (cause most people are dense) and say 'this is the person that you should marry, you will be miserable'. but no, we have try out marriage like we try on shoes and find the one that fits. :(

Took my old man five tries at marriage before he finally settled down. I'm a product of the second marriage.

And you wonder why I haven't gotten married - yet?

cash78mere 07-31-2004 09:15 PM
