Ideas?
 

Hey all-

My chapter president put me in charge of coming up with a craft/keepsake for the chapter to do at our upcoming retreat. I am really not a crafty person, so I need help! She suggested something like tie-dying shirts, I thought that would be fun. Any ideas given are appreciated!!

Is your chapter one (since I know there's been mention that others aren't) that enjoys/celebrates wearing the membership pins?

If so, how about making little pin pillows (ones that you use to prevent losing those membersip pins) and having all members of the chapter sign everyone else's. :)

Oh, I just love the pin pillow idea! Right now my pledge pin is sitting in my jewelry box, and I'd love to have a place where I can see it every day. I love my pin and can't imagine not wearing it to a meeting or outing.

Another idea regarding the pins.....at places like Michael's arts&crafts they have small wooden boxes that open and close with hinges and stuff in various shapes. You could get some of those and have everyone decorate theirs.........My sorority does this sometimes for our new members as initiation gifts. Some press our flower and use special glue to adhere it to the top of the box(depending on the style of the box), they paint the boxes in the sorority colors or the favorite color of the new member, and paint the sorority letters on there, or our symbols and what nots.

Now that i think about it, you can probably do both the boxes and the pillows. You can make the pillows to put inside the lil boxes for the pins. :)

Decorate Picture frames, put your letters on mugs w/ paint pens, scrapbook, make photoboards using hotglue and fabric..........
