Iowa State overtaken by the Red Hat Societ
All these cultish crabby old ladies are here. :(
http://redhatsociety.com/ I'm glad I quit Campus Services and got asked to go back to Hy-Vee (my boss fired 2 people and is being very nice to me) |
Oh, you leave those nice old ladies alone, you rapscallion!
|
Those little old ladies could probably drink you under the table!
Besides, I think they're so cute with their red hats and purple dresses. Where are they staying? |
Those red hate ladies mean business. I see so many more and more decked out from head to toe in that junk. Im just so glad my grandma is normal and doesnt dress like that. Although the hubbys mom wears some of that stuff and was quite unamused when I made fun of the stuff lol.

I work at an antique/home decour mall so they come in from time to time. We even have a dealer with a 'red hat' booth that sells red hats and crap.
it is my conclusion that the red hat society is a gang for old women who partake in group antique shopping. woot! -Matt |

My mom and all her friends are involved in that. Every time we go shopping, my mom is looking for "red hat" stuff. Don't mess with them though. They move in packs. Mess with one, you mess with them all. ;)

I think it's really cool that there is a society for women to get together, be friends and create a community for themselves.
Oh wait... that sounds like a sorority! It's not easy being older and wanting to make friends. Groups like this are a welcome addition. |

I was at Union Station in Chicago waiting for my train, and saw a bunch of them . . . I was like "What in the heck is going on with them??". But then you see a lot of weirdos there, so . . . :p
