Fat Actress

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/5491003

She went from the lead on one of the most brilliant and longest running programs on TV...to.....this.....

Anyone ever seen her mid-90s show, Fat Actress's Closet or something?

Didn't think so.

Her show was called Victoria's Closet. It did quite well for awhile. Kathy Najimy played her assistant.

It was actually called "Veronica's Closet" and it was a funny show. I enjoyed it.

I think She has a good idea with this show, but I can also see this making life worse for her.

The Cheers Cast Revisited:

Frasier is one of the most underrated and under appreciated sitcoms ever, and it was a spin-off. Those don't do too well.
Ted Danson has Becker, which is a good show
Rhea Perlman has done some various shows, but she always has her husband to work with
Shelley Long....stil regret leaving Cheers?
John Ratzenberger's show on the food network is actually pretty interesting.
Where'd George Wendt go?
When I get rich enough, I'm going to have a session with Woody Harrelson.
Lilith is on broadway and loves it.

And last but CERTAINLY not least, we have Fat Actress......

Lady Pi Phi 07-27-2004 02:36 PM

George Wendt was on Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

I actually think its cool idea. people shouldn't be judged on weight, as much as our society does it all the time. Good way for her to maybe get some shots back at the people that have been razzing her in the tabloids for her weight

I think because our society values weight so much, there's really no point in bitching, crying and moaning from fat people (like myself) for respect. You either lose the weight, or your personality is so great that it overshadows it.

With this in mind, I think Ms. Allie is doing the above. I may be wrong, but this doesn't really help matters IMHO.

But hey, can't hate on a paycheck, right?

ZeroCool 07-28-2004 02:26 PM

I dont' think people should have to worry about weight that much, although i think its cool that you have a good personality, you shouldnt' have to worry about weight :)

And you're absolutely right, i can't hate on a paycheck
