Alumne Chapter Update for my GC Sisters!
 

Hey ladies, its been a while since i've posted, I know. School has been really crazy. Anyways, on June 4th Jamie Hammil-Pyne (one of our national officers) came out and our chapter and our alumnae all got together to have one last meeting, one last candlepass and then we officially closed our chapter.
It was one of the saddest ways so far in my young life, but now I am here to say that its all gonna work out in the end.
My chapter and our alumnae are going to start our own alumnae chapter for the San Jose area. We are all going to get together for dinner this Sunday to discuss it more. I am so happy that my DZ involvement doesn't have to end and once all the commotion dies down at SCU, maybe we will be able to help some other young college students recolonize (in the future of course).
Unfortunatly the same thing happened to Theta Chi. Their Nationals also decided against supporting an off campus chapter.
I just wanted to thank you all for your support. I told me chapter about you and the advice and positive thoughts that you have offered me throughout this sad transition. I am now a DZ alumnus and I am so proud to know that I will get to be a DZ for the rest of my life. OUr chapter may no longer be active, but we are all still sisters and we will always have each other.

Why is your chapter no longer active? I am in ASA, but we have a DZ on our campus- I wanted to join- anyone they are really really popular. I assummed all DZ's were popular.

Nevermind- I saw your other post about how you go to a Jesuit school and they are anti-greek. Sorry to hear that.
