Sisterhood bonding
 

I'm one of the social chairs for my chapter and this year one of our goals is to really increase bonding within the sisterhood. I'm hoping to get the year off to a strong start! Our chapter usually has a sisters-only party in the beginning of the semester, but that is about it in terms of sister activities for a while. I was hoping some of you might have some good ideas about projects, activities, etc. that would help. Also, has anyone done "team building" activities? We were thinking of maybe bringing in some sort of team building leader to spend the day with us doing a workshop or something...

Change things up
 

One thing that we do that is really fun is we do ethnic food night where different sisters go to different restaurants but its mixed up so that you get to meet sisters who you don't normally hang out with and have dinner with them.

one thing we tried this past year was a game night at the house. sisters could bring in fun board games like cranium, twister, and loaded questions. we split up into different groups and just munched on snacks and played fun games. it was a great way to take a break from homework, gossip, and be goofy with each other. we'll definitely be doing it again.

other events we've done were taking a road trip to a rodeo and going tubing. we also have an on campus coffee shop where we have theta coffee hour every tuesday night :) it's another good way to take a study break.
