need ideas ..please help!
 

I just recently discovered this website while I was trying to get fun ideas for our upcoming bid day, we our having it outside at a park and i'm really excited about it but I want it to be perfect. I'm thinking of having a hawaiian them but i'm having trouble coming up w/ideas on how to make it happen.
Also the t-shirt we're thinking of using has nothing to do w/the theme.. is that bad?

Any help would be welcomed, thanks!

Are you wanting to do Hawaiian because you are doing the lei ceremony for pref?

What do your bid day shirts look like?

My personal opinion is that it doesn't matter what the shirts look like.....if you want a Hawaiian style theme, do what you want.

I'm not sure on your budget or anything, but last year we did something like that. We got sand to put on the side walk, had leis from the ceremony to give to our new members, tiki torches, lots of decorations.

Other ideas could be hula skirts, hawaiian music in the background.....but if you are having it at a park....it might depend on what you are able to do.

That sounds awesome! We do use leis for pref and since we wanted to do it outside someplace we thought the hawaiian theme might be cool. The background music, and skirts sound like it could be done. As for the t-shirt we were thinking of the shirt where the alphaebet is on the front (but the d and g are missing) and the back says something like "you don't know what you are missing out on" (something along those lines) But nothing is set in stone. --thanks so much!

use tiki torches!! and make sure you have bug spray just in case
