Cheers: Needing some help

The girls at Gamma Iota, I think for most part are in agreement w/ me that our cheer needs, well, re-doing... it's lost it's flare. Over the years since International's made us change the words *coughs* We've begun singing it slower and, well, listening to it, it's not just the words, it's the tone of it. So I'm trying to think of some new stuff. It's not really my job, but I'm the only one taking initiative. We liked, at convention, I believe it was the Hawaii girls that had theirs end in "Ra, Ra, Ra" and it was all this fast stuff... that sounded good, and new to us... a lot of the girls liked it. But I can't really remember how it goes, and we would want some of our own words. But if you could maybe either PM me yours, or post it so everyone can see and maybe get some new ideas... that would be GREAT!!! b/c we LOVE AGD and I know we are always open to new experiences... and as it seemed "re-vamping" things was "in" at convention, we would like some help "re-vamping" our cheer... so it doesn't sound like all the other ones on campus :)

Tink, what cheer do you use now?

The one I'm familiar with is

Hay dee, kay dee, calla walla way dee
Calla walla wingo dingo day dee
Osh kosh calla walla wash
Calla walla wingo dingo dosh
Osh key wah wah, sis boom bah
Alpha Gamma Delta
Rah Rah Rah!

(to use creative spelling)

I think the girls in Memphis use this one...

the red
the buff
the red the buff the green
Alpha Gamma Delta
the best you've ever seen
better than the others
better than the rest
Alpha Gamma Delta
we'll always be the best!

They do it really fast, and it sounds pretty cool

Ours goes as....

Hot Gamm!
Friendship, Love, Loyalty
that is sisterhood to me
Iota raise a yell
We will never tell
Epsilon Pi!
Give me Alpha Gamm, one time!
Oh Yeah!
Give me Alpha Gamm, two times!
Oh Yeah!
Give me Alpha Gamm, three times!
Oh Yeah!
Give me Alpha Gamm, all the time!
Yeah!!!

see... it's a lot to say really fast and the one time.. etc.. doesn't really roll off the tongue well in my opinion.

(*** with the rhythm of the 1812 Overture...)

With an A and an L and a P - H - A
With a G and an A and a M - M - A
With a D and an E and L - T - A
Alpha Gam!

Sing it, sing, it, sing it! Sing to the skies!
Come on Alpha Gams! Sing it 'til you die.

<Repeat>

Then you go into Haddie Caddie (see previous post).

Another Chant...

How I love those Alpha Gams
So deep - deep (tap your chest twice)
So down - down (tap your knees twice)
So deep - deep (tap your chest twice)
So down - down (tap your knees twice)
In my heart (cross your hands across your heart)
*Kiss Noise* (blow kisses)
Wooooo!

<Repeat>

Actually, it's the William Tell, not 1812. Just FYI :)
